Wok Steamed Baby Bok Choy

Course Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Baby Boy Choy Washed, de-stemmed and diced
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flake
  • 1 TB soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • Fresh cilantro diced optional for garnish
  • Cashews, almonds or peanuts optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Saute garlic in olive oil over medium high heat
  • Add cleaned, sliced Baby Bok Choy
  • Sauté until leaves of Baby Bok Choy are wilted and bright green
  • Add soy sauce, fish sauce, chicken stock, sesame seeds, red pepper flake and continue to toss with tongs for about 15 minutes or until white pieces of Baby Bok Choy are fork tender
  • Garnish with fresh diced cilantro, cashews, peanuts or almonds
