It’s Easter weekend and this year I am feeling a little nostalgic. It has been years since I decorated Easter Eggs and I decided the time has come to revisit.

I went old school and got a Paas Kit just like when I was a little girl. It’s super simple and all I need are eggs, vinegar and water.

I start by boiling my eggs. I fill a pot with cold water, add eggs, a splash of white wine vinegar, bring to a boil, cover and turn off the heat. I let them sit for about 12 minutes.

I transfer to an ice bath.

Drain and towel dry.

Now the fun part! I take several small juice glasses and add one Paas color tablet, 1/2TB of white wine vinegar and 1/2 cup of tap water.

Then I just add my egg with the fancy little egg dipping tool.

I let the eggs sit for about 5-7 minutes and then transfer to the egg drying rack (which comes as the package) sat in a roasting dish so I don’t risk dye dripping on my countertop.

I did attempt to use the “Magic Crayon”. Apparently, my art skills haven’t improved significantly over the years!
Now I let the eggs dry for about 20-30 minutes.
After the eggs dry I add some stickers! That turns out to be my favorite part!

I’m going to place them in the fridge and then tomorrow I’ll be peeling them and making deviled eggs! You can find that recipe here:
Happy Easter!
